The Journées d’étude virtuelles sur les jumelages interculturels et les tandems (May 25 and 26, 2023) are an initiative of UQAM’s Groupe de recherche sur les jumelages interculturels (GReJI). As godfather of the Journées, Dany Laferrière gives an interview in which he discusses various intercultural themes, including identity, belonging, racism, and the richness of diversity in art and literature. This interview, conducted by Professor Charlette Ménard (UQAT), was the opening lecture of the Journées, and was broadcast for the first time on Thursday May 25 during the event.
